
Sony has introduced four home theatre systems in its DAV-DZ BRAVIA range, offering a range of features, plus styling and integration with other Sony BRAVIA equipment.
All units feature 1080p upscaling, Digital Cinema Auto Calibration for ease of setup, a dialogue enhancer which keeps speech clear while limiting volume spikes, a digital media port for communicating with portable appliances, and BRAVIA Sync.
The BRAVIA Theatre DAV-DZ260 offers a total power output of 850W, features compact satellite speakers, and will play most standard optical disc formats and files. Available from March.
The DAV-DZ560 features large standmount/wall-mount speakers for the front left and right channels, with a matching centre speaker styled as per the latest BRAVIA TVs. The system will also work with Sony's S-AIR wireless rear speaker system, available as an optional extra.
It offers the same power output and playback options as the DAV-DZ260, and will be available from May.
The DAV-DZ660 (pictured) features four large speakers for front left/right and surround left/right channels, and can also be used with the S-AIR wireless rear speaker system. 850W of power, and available from May.
Finally, the top-of-the-range DAV-DZ860W system additionally features 32-bit digital sound processing, Portable Audio Enhancer Plus and Dialogue Enhancer Plus functions, Sports Mode, and 1000W of total output. Available from June.
