Paired with AMD's 780 chipset, the company says that they'll provide "significant enhancements in gaming and high-definition experiences for mainstream PC customers".
First in the range will be a 2.1GHz 8400 and a 2.3GHz 8600, featuring 1.5MB of L2 cache, 2MB of shared L3 cache, followed by a 2.1GHz 8450, 2.3GHz 8650, and 2.4GHz 8750.
