
Hewlett Packard has announced that the imminent European availability of updated Pavilion notebook PCs with Blu-ray drives, replacing the now defunct HD DVD drives.
The Pavilion dv2800, dv6700, and dv9800 modes, sporting 14.1, 15.4, and 17-inch displays, come with either an Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Turion 64 X2 processor, integrated graphics or NVIDIA GeForce 8400M or 8600M, and Blu-ray burner on the 17-inch model.
In addition, the desktop replacement HDX-9300 also comes with a Blu-ray drive, plus Penryn T8100 or T9300 processor, 3GB RAM, and NVIDA GeForce 8800M GTS graphics card.
