Director of Disney's "Step Up 2 The Streets". Jon M Chu, believes that Blu-ray offers far more detail and better picture than the original film.€
Chu said that the Blu-ray disc version was "beautiful", adding that the colours "pop" and it's possible to do more in dark scenes.
"On the Blu-ray, just consistently you know what you're getting and you can play in those shadows. You can see it and it doesn't feel dark. It just feels moody," he said.
He also said that film-makers had to be more careful because Blu-ray shows a lot more detail.
"Well, you definitely get to see more wires from the camera," Chu said. "There'll be like a sandbag or something somewhere (on the set)."
