GE intros E1050TW HD-capable compact digital camera

GE has introduced a compact digital camera capable of shooting high definition movies in 720p at 30fps using the MPEG4 format, albeit with monaural sound.

This 10.1 megapixel camera features a three inch touchscreen display, 5x optical and 4.5x digital zoom, image stabilisation, GPS support, recording onto SD/SDHC up to 4GB, and rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery.

Available from the end of the month priced £149.
