Memorex intros MVBD-2510 Blu-ray player at under US$270
Memorex, a brand name I associate more with consumer electronics consumables than hardware, has announced the US availability of its standalone MVBD-2510 Blu-ray player.
The player features full 1080p playback at 24p and 60p, BonusView 1.1, audio decoding and playback of Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio, Master Audio bitstream output, and 7.1 channel audio output.
In the States it will retail for $269, available from November. The downside of that price is that you don't get Profile 2.0 compliance.
No word on a UK availability or pricing.
