SanDisk has responded to the latest range of high definition cameras, such as the Canon EOS-5D Mark II, by launching its 32 Gigabyte Extreme III Compact Flash card.
Aimed at the digital SLR rather than camcorders, the card can store over an hour-and-a-half of full HD video, with a 30MB/s write speed. It can also transfer 32GB of content to a PC in just over 15 minutes.
Stills cameras are increasingly gaining HD video capabilities, so there's a definite need for high capacity, fast memory cards such as this.
