It's been a little while since we've looked at how Freesat is doing, particularly relating to high definition, so here's a roundup based on news reports from the ever-reliable Join Freesat blog.
Humax PVR
Humax is set to launch its FOXSAT-HDR PVR at the What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision Show in London from 31st October - 2nd November.
That doesn't necessarily mean it will be available in the shops on that date, but will at least be announced.
Comet and Dixons deals
Comet has released a 15% discount code for use against the Humax FOXSAT-HD (£127.49) Freesat receiver, valid until 10th November 2008. The code is FREESAT15, usable online.
Initially, the deal also extended to the Grundig GUFSAT01HD, but that offer seems to have been withdrawn.
Meanwhile, Dixons' 10% discount on all Freesat digital boxes is available until 16th October, using code 10DIGI (online only).
100,000 Sales
Sales of Freesat products has topped 100,000 since launch, since the launch on 6th May.
It's not known what proportion of these sales are of high definition receivers.
ITV HD Schedule
For some reason, ITV is making listings for ITV HD, only available on Freesat, extremely elusive. Here's a useful schedule of programming for the channel.
