Sony Pictures has just introduced its Blu-ray Club in the States, offering various rewards to consumers who stock up on high-def titles from the studio.
It requires that users create a profile at SonyRewards.com/BluRay, after which they can earn points for registering their movies via BD-Live. These can be redeemed for various Sony products and services.
Lexine Wong, Senior Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment said, "SPHE is dedicated to providing consumers with the most dynamic Blu-ray Disc experiences possible. The Sony Pictures Blu-ray Club, made possible by the new interactivity of BD-Live, provides a unique incentive for our consumers who have embraced our Blu-ray high definition movies."
