Brits flock to high definition TV
Britons are embracing digital and high definition TV, according to the latest research from Ofcom, with over four in five households having digital TV on their main set and soaring popularity of HDTV and DVRs.
The International Communications Market Report shows that 30 per cent of UK households own a digital video recorder, there are 700,000 households with HD - more than the combined number in France, Germany and Italy.
