Pure updates mini camcorder: Flip Mino goes HD
Pure has updated its compact Flip Mino camcorder so that it can now shoot 720p high definition footage at 30fps.
The Flip MinoHD is supposed to be the smallest HD camcorder currently available, and weighs just 3.3oz.
With 4GB of onboard memory, up to one hour of video can be shot, and a single charge of the lithium-ion battery gives two hours of use.
It records in the H.264 format and saves as MP4 format, with the video bitrate at around 8.8Mbps. It connects to PC with USB and features FlipShare software for viewing, editing, and sharing.
No word on when it will be available in the UK, but hopefully it won't be long. It retails in the US for around $229.99.
