Steve Coogan's stand up tour to be filmed in high definition

Steve Coogan will begin his first stand up tour for a decade at the Blackpool Opera House tomorrow, and it will all be captured in high definition for a subsequent DVD (and Blu-ray?) release.

The "Steve Coogan as Alan Partridge and Other Less Successful Characters" tour will revive the likes of Alan Partridge, Paul Calf, Tommy Saxondale, Duncan Thicket and Tony Ferrino.

NEP Visions, the largest UK outside broadcast company, will film it all, with the discs available from early next year.
