Documentary
The BBC HD channel shows the second part of Nicholas Crane's Britannia: The Great Elizabethan Journey at 9pm. Nicholas Crane visits Scotland's highest village where he successfully pans for gold, meets a local seer and explores what is widely regarded to be Britain's only true remaining wilderness: Atholl.
The final part of Country House Rescue is on Channel 4 HD at 8pm.
Films
Heaven Can Wait is a fantasy comedy starring Gene Tierney. The Devil reflects on the life of a recently deceased playboy. Channel 4 HD at 1.20pm.
Across the Sky network films include The Insider (10pm, Sky Drama HD), Casper (6.15pm, Sky Family HD), 10 Things I Hate About You (10pm, Sky Family HD), Mississippi Burning (11.50pm, Sky Modern Greats HD), and Antz (4.45pm, Sky Screen 1 HD).
