The Premier League has announced that Sky has secured the rights to a fifth package of live Premiership football matches, following the four it had already been awarded on Tuesday.
This means that Sky will be able to broadcast 115 exclusively live Premiership matches during each of the three seasons from 2010-11 through to 2012-13.
Setanta Sports secured just package D.
While this may not be good news for competition, it does at least mean that football fans wanting to see the most games in high definition will now be able to do so.
