Sky Arts to show High Definition Britain: five National Trust views

Sky has announced that its Sky Arts HD channel will showcase five spectacular views owned by the National Trust as part of its High Definition Britain series.

From 2nd March until 30th April (sorry, only just got the news through today) on Sky Arts 1 HD (channel 258), viewers can see The Aberglaslyn Pass in Snowdonia, Borrowdale in Keswick, St Michael's Mount, Penzance, Holywell Bay, Cornwall and Kintail & Morvich (Ross-shire).

Fiona Reynolds, Director General of the National Trust explained, "As part of our ongoing partnership with Sky and our effort to champion a higher quality of life for all, we are delighted to be able to help the viewing public experience some of our greatest properties. The project highlights the rare and subtle beauty our country possesses and how much we must protect, value and enjoy it."

The programmes will also be available from 8th March on Sky Anytime.

The next seven showings are all at 2am in the morning, but hopefully there are some more sociable viewing times available. You can find them by searching the Sky Arts TV Guide.
