Tekxon shows off VZT8320 full high definition camcorder
Taiwanese consumer electronics manufacturer Tekxon has just shown off its latest high definition camcorder, the VZT8320.
This palm-sized camcorder offers both 1080p and 720p recording at 30fps using H.264 video compression, as well as a 5x optical zoom, night mode for low-light shooting, video stabilisation, motion detection, 3-inch flip-out touchscreen LCD, HDMI port, up to 8MP still image resolution, up to 32GB SDHC support, and direct YouTube uploading.
It runs from a standard NP-60 lithium-ion rechargeable battery and comes with HDMI cable, video cable, carry pouch and USB cable.
A 32GB memory card will allow for around one-and-a-half hours worth of high definition video. It's expected to be available in May for US$199. UK availability and pricing to be confirmed.
