Cheryl Cole is the latest celebrity to be worried about how she'll look in high definition, and has apparently been advised by Simon Cowell to improve her complexion before appearing on HDTV in the States.
She's also worried about how she'll look on the X Factor sitting next to Dannii Minogue, even though the ITV show isn't (yet) shot in HD.
To that end, she's spent £36k on a rather bizarre exercise machine - portable wind tunnel chamber and special vacuum clothing.
"Cheryl knows she's not fat but she's paranoid about sitting next to Dannii on TV," said one insider.
