TVonics launch the DTR-HV250 digital TV recorder
British manufacture TVonics are today launching their DTR-HV250, the company's first digital TV recorder to feature HDMI ports.
The DTR will let you pause and rewind live TV, store up to 125 hours of recorded shows, record entire series with a single button press and record two shows simultaneously.
Perhaps the DTR-HV250's most alluring feature however is its upscaling capabilities. Connect up the DTR-HV250 to a HD ready TV and it will upscale any standard definition broadcasts you are watching, resulting in a far crisper image.
Another nifty addition is the picture-in-picture function, allowing users to watch two different channels at the same time.
The DTR-HV250 also has room for two extra HDMI inputs which it can switch between, removing the need for a costly HDMI switchbox. The box also features two USB slots to access photos from.
The DTR-HV250 is available now from the TVonics website for £229.99.
