
No slowing down from Sony when it comes to Blu-ray players, with today's announcement of the entry-level BDP-S360 unit. Though not mentioned, this presumably supersedes the BDP-S350 launched in late summer last year, though for real high-end Blu-ray nuts, the BDP-S5000ES is still available.
Naturally, the BDP-S360 offers full 1080p playback, including 24fps true cinema mode, and it also utilises Sony's Precision Cinema HD Upscale that improves the output of standard DVDs.
