Personally, I think it's pretty cheap and tacky, and there's nothing amusing or innovative about it. It doesn't grab your attention and scream "buy an HD DVD player". It barely gives the impression that it's worth watching films in high definition.
If this is as exciting as things get, then surely it's all over for HD DVD?
